PA Fieldstone, Colonial Wall Stone & Boulders
Regular Pennsylvania fieldstone remains one of the most popular palletized stones for wall construction. It also works well for rock‑garden accents and pond edging. This material comes from dismantled farm walls throughout the Pennsylvania mountains, giving each stone a natural, time‑worn character.
Colonial stone is a flatter wall stone, so it’s easier to handle and stack. It often looks “old” from the start, showing natural moss and weathering. Many pieces have snapped edges, which create a cleaner, more defined profile. As a result, Colonial walls tend to appear more linear and refined.
Our boulders complement fieldstone and offer unique decorative qualities. Many pieces feature moss, lichen, and other natural textures. When placed throughout a property—whether in gardens, near ponds, or as focal points—boulders help unify the landscape. You can use a single stone for emphasis or group several for a dramatic effect. These stones are rounder than palletized fieldstone and come in a wide range of shapes and sizes.

All materials are packaged on heavy duty end gate pallets. Most stone is banded or wrapped for secure packaging. A full pallet can weigh 3,000 to 4,000+ pounds. Depending on overall size, local deliveries are either hand-unloaded, or a truck with a forklift is employed. For non local deliveries, stone is shipped via common carrier van type trucks or open deck tractor trailers. It is then the recipient’s responsibility to have a forklift on site to unload the materials from the truck.
